Twilight Patio Dining with Landscape Lighting

The family wanted to eat outside regularly, but the yard had no defined dining area and went dark and unused the moment the sun dropped.

We built a dining terrace with flagstone and gravel, set a table area framed by lavender and potted palms, and ran warm low-voltage uplighting into the mature palms and along the walkway. A raised deck with built-in bench seating sits behind for after-dinner gathering.

At twilight the lighting, the planting, and the table come together as one scene — the patio is now the part of the house the family uses most in the evening.
