Cedar Deck & Hot Tub

The hot tub had been dropped onto an uneven surface with no surround, which made it awkward to get into and impossible to keep clean.

We poured level footings, framed the deck to sit tight around the tub shell, and finished it in cedar for the warm tone and natural rot resistance. An access hatch was built in so the equipment can be serviced without pulling boards.

Now it reads as one built-in feature instead of an appliance in the yard, and the surrounding deck gives them somewhere to sit and dry off.
